Payment Policies

• The Gift House accepts all major credit cards or you may use your PayPal account.
• We also accept Money Orders within seven business days of placing orders.  Once your order is placed you will receive an e-mail with a mailing address.
• Order is not complete until payment is received.

Returns

Personalized items may not be returned, so make sure to review your order and personalization information carefully before checkout.  If an item is defective, please contact us within seven days for an exchange.

To return an item to us:
Contact us at 859.481.1556 or info@thegifthouseky.com for authorization and a return shipping address.  Include a note with the reason for the return.  Make sure the package can be traced.

We will credit the original purchaser's credit card or issue an on-line gift certificate, depending on the original payment method. Your refund will be issued upon the receipt of your returned item. If you are returning merchandise, you are responsible for the cost of returning it to us. Unfortunately, we cannot reimburse you for the original shipping charges.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Shipping

Items will be shipped via the U.S. Mail.  You can expect to receive your merchandise in 2-3 weeks.  Personalized items and merchandise bought during peak times could take longer.  If you need an item by a certain date, please note this during checkout and we will make every attempt to grant your request.  Shipping available in the U.S. only.

Item Shortages or Backorders

While The Gift House makes every effort to maintain stock of all styles offered, this may not always be possible. In the event an item is out of stock, we will make every attempt to ship the item as soon as possible. When an item is back ordered, you will be given an approximate arrival date. These dates cannot be guaranteed.
